Our Nurse Practitioner community clinics are designed to improve access to health care for women residing in the community.

 

A nurse practitioner is a registered nurse with a graduate education in primary health care to assume some of the responsibilities once assumed only by a physician such as the diagnosis and treatment of minor illnesses.

 

This includes

  • Check-ups
  • Diagnosis and prescriptions
  • Pap tests
  • HIV Testing
  • Specialist referrals
  • Birth control options

 

Hours of Availability (both for bookings and drop-in)


Monday 9:30 am – 4:30 pm (last appointment at 4pm)
Tuesday – Thursday 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm (last appointment at 4pm)
Friday 9:30 am – 1:30 pm (last appointment at 1pm)

 

* We recommend making an appointment as drop-ins can be limited *
