Navigating complex systems can be overwhelming, especially when facing barriers to healthcare, housing, income assistance, or essential services.
VWHC’s advocacy services provide compassionate, trauma-informed, person-centred support to help women and gender-diverse individuals understand their rights, explore available resources, and navigate challenges.
PLEASE NOTE: Advocates support services are by appointment only.
For counselling support, please visit our Counselling services page.
We believe advocacy begins with listening. Our approach centers each person’s lived experience, autonomy, and right to make informed decisions. Whether connecting someone with community resources, assisting with paperwork, or helping them navigate systems, we work alongside participants to ensure their voices are heard and respected.
We at the Vancouver Women’s Health Collective are a non-profit organization helping all who self-identify as women and gender diverse foster health, wellness, and equity through intersectional feminist approaches to advocacy, shared knowledge, and minimal-barrier programs and services.
