The Vancouver Women’s Health Collective operates a minimal-barrier, drop-in Resource Centre in Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside for people who self-identify as women and gender-diverse.
The Resource Centre is a community-rooted space where people can access essential resources, practical support, and connection. Services and programming are offered within a highly relational, trauma- and violence-informed environment and are shaped by community-identified needs.

How the Space Operates
The Resource Centre is staffed during open hours and operates within a framework of collective care and shared responsibility. Staff, peers, and volunteers work together to support access, safety, and respect for everyone in the space.
The Resource Centre is not an emergency or crisis service. While staff may provide de-escalation, first aid, and referrals where appropriate, we do not provide clinical crisis intervention.
We at the Vancouver Women’s Health Collective are a non-profit organization helping all who self-identify as women, non-binary, and gender diverse persons foster health, wellness, and equity through feminist approaches to advocacy, shared knowledge, and low-barrier programs and services.
